Music and Dance constitutes an integral part of the school’s curriculum. Festivals and presentations held from time to time are occasions to showcase budding talent in the school. The students also regularly take part in several inter-school events and have done the school proud by winning many such events.
Both Indian and Western dance is taught to our school students. Classical Indian dance is taught in order to make the students aware of the varied hand gestures, the “Mudras”, associated with our classical dance styles. Through this, students gain valuable knowledge of our rich traditions and heritage. Similarly regular Western dance classes are also held so that our students are at par with the international standards and have a well rounded growth in the field of dance. Periodic school assemblies are used as a medium of showcasing the talent and learning of our students. Undoubtedly, the pursuit of such creative activities adds another meaningful dimension to the school life.
