Aristotle has once said. “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act, it is a habit.”
Dear Parents, Maxfort School, Dwarka, New Delhi, is a school which nurtures all its students not just academically but emotionally and socially as well. In our school a patriotic song will be effectively used to motivate students and inculcate values, an international dance will pique the curiosity of students to learn more about cultures and countries. Shakespeare for our students is not just the Bard of Avon to be read in books but a versatile playwright whose work can be connected to our life today.
All this does not happen on its own but is the result of sheer hard work, planning, synergy and teamwork. Creativity will be most important asset that we will be able to give our students in 21st century.
Only those individuals will be able to carve a niche for themselves who create something that cannot be thought of by machines. This is where schools will need to change their role and become centers of excellence.
Consequently our students excel not just in the school but in Inter-school competitions, not just in the state of Delhi but in nationals, not just in century but also in International arena.
To achieve this all team members need to work in unison to contribute to the society by building our students into exemplary citizens who contribute to the society. Let us lead in this noble initiative by becoming role models who not just lead but also mentor.
We will work together in areas of pedagogy, curriculum, development, teacher training, Parent Outreach, Student Outreach programmes to give the best to the students.
Regards,
Ms. Dipika Sharma
